Amazon’s requirements for the Amazon Brand Registry have changed. If you are selling in the USA, to be listed on the Amazon Brand Registry you will need a trademark registration on the principal register.
This means you can’t have a trademark that is on the supplemental register for reasons such as descriptiveness, ornamental use, or being merely a surname unless the trademark has taken on secondary meaning.
The registered trademark can be either (i) a standard character mark, (ii) words, letters, or numbers in a stylized form or (iii) an illustration drawing which includes words, letters, or numbers.
